These drawings are from my sketch-pad/notebook. While i was staying in Thiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India. I was inspired by Arunachala, the Mountain. Also, the Sun and The Lake. Ontop of Arunachala is the Agni Lingam or Fire Lingam. Every full-moon people walk around the 14km base of the mountain as an act of faith and purification. I lived in Thiruvannamalai for about a month and a half. It is one of my favourite places in India. It is also the site of the Ramana Ashram. Although I cannot suggest visiting this place. It is the final resting place or Samadi site of Ramana. It has a good bookshop..that's about all I got from there. The main source of energy, as it was for Ramana, is Arunachala. What an amazing place...for some, it is very difficult to leave!
